I have a 1 good message and 1 bad!
The good message is that I figured out how to host on another port!
The bad message is that the server can't be listed on server list.
It can be accessed only by JJ2 shortcut with arugments: -connect X.X.X.X:10053 etc.
So... I wanted to host NC meeting server and also mine server.
But it looks like that it will be harder than I thought :(
Still if you want to try... you can contact me on my server.
Tell me what you think,
if it is bad or good that second server can't be listed and can be accessed only by shortcut of JJ2.
Example:
Mine public server:
"C:\GAMES\JJ2\Jazz2+.exe" -connect 88.101.226.205:10052
I wanted NC meeting on this port:
"C:\GAMES\JJ2\Jazz2+.exe" -connect 88.101.226.205:10053
I will ask Shaker, he will probably know.
I hope it is problem with server list and that I don't need to edit plus.dll or something like that.

apparently you can list only up to 2 servers from the same IP address. in your case you're not listing more than 2 servers so I'm not sure what's wrong there

Well only one server was shown in server list. And after I was trying to host more than 1 server it's bugged. It now even says Server Failed to list on the first server. Hi Shaker i want to thanks you so mutch for the jazz2 v1.00 - it mean so mutch! finaly i can see the basics from the jazz2 :) the game itself dont works on my computer it always crash - the menu i can enter - if i try anything ingame - it crash, but the jcs works! i saw the jungle2 lvl have bilsy as endboss! thats amazing i always did think about it where bilsy should be - the jj2 makers had jungle2 in mind - at the end of the jazz2 programming progress they did removed bilsy from jungle2 - so it seems that BILSY is the original ENDBOSS from Jungle2 - im so thankfull for the jj2 v1.00 - thanks so much shaker!! :)

What is it about? It is about Windows XP of course. It contains a patch to increase the maximum RAM from 3,25 GB to 64 GB!!! Nice huh? I only tested it with 8 GB... and it works fine with me. Try it... if you want. I use it very often.

Well I am happy that you are happy, but ... I'm not sure if you will find a use for it. You will >physically< need more RAM to find a use for this. I had 4 GB and it was decreased to 3,25 GB because of the limitation. When I used it... it jumped up to full 4 GB! So... I bought another 4 GB of RAM... and now I have 8 GB of RAM on 32-bit system.

a other thing, i found something interresting, on www.jazz2online.com is a (fan made) level editor its named by " MLLE.exe " its absolutly awesome, you can build a jazz2 level with more than 3x different tilesets! for one level, its absolutly awesome, but i have a bit problems here- that program DONT works on my WinXP computers...... :< it seems it use newer software but im not sure, AgentClank i need your help, can you figure and check that out, can you find a way to run that " MLLE.exe " on winXP or is any way to use it on windows XP , check the (fanmade) Multilayer+Multitileset Level editor out- here is the link: https://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/7291/multilayer-level-editor-v213a/

Yea... I doubt that. I don't think I will help you run it on Windows XP, since I am no programmer. Thing which you can try it run Virual Windows 7 on your XP computer. But dunno if your computer will handle that.

Windows XP Professional x64 might work, but it is not for sure. Problem is ... that x64 XP is not actually XP, but remade Windows Server 2003. And there are many compatibility problems and stuff like that. I never used it, but heard that. XP was like the first ever test subject for 64-bit.

ye the hardware that fit to my operation system that my current problem with the win XP 64 bit, all my notebooks are improved for winXP 32 bit, my notebooks are absolutly brand new and very modern, i found out that new DELL Notebooks with core2 are extremly fast on WinXP, it means my winXP notebook are 100x faster than my ( i7 ) win7 notebook - i do have only Core2 notebooks, i do have core2 extreme on 3GHz

As for Virtual Machines, I use Virtual PC 2007. It is well made for Windows operating systems and it already contains drivers and stuff. I even managed to install Win7 into it, with some issues, because it does not support that operating system, but I got it to work. It is also very light on CPU. I don't like VirtualBox, because it never worked very well for me.

Oh also... I would recommend you to change HOST key from ALT to ... for example [F12]. Or something you won't use. ALT is used a lot... and HOST key means... that if you press that, it will unlock your mouse, and you are no longer able to make key combinations. [ALT] + [V] etc. I need this combination to write @. Virtual PC 2007 is light. It should be fast. But problem with this program is... you have only 8 MB of Graphical memory ... and you have limited access to hardware. No USB etc.

Virtual PC 2007 does not support USB. But if you want to access your storage on your physical drives, you can Install Virtual Machine Additions which add a feature, to MOUNT directory from physical computer. It works like network drive. Kinda weird, but it works.

I had only issues with drivers. I could not manage to run network and sound. Sound was fixed by installing Windows Machine Additions... and network was fixed by rewriting DNS config.

Fabian, hats are a bit hard to do cause you need to adjust the position of the hat for each animation of the bunny. However, I already did that, and I have added not only Christmas Hats but also lots of other hats. You can see this in the following image:

I have finally been able to make it work. I compiled it using QT 5.6.3. I know you usually prefer tinyupload but it had a 50 MB limit and the file is almost 150 MB. Tell me if you are able to download it. Fabian. My QT 5.6.3 folder contains nothing aside from the original install files. I am afraid the full installation takes 5.24 GB for me so it is too big to upload it anywhere. This is the installation kit that I used. If you use the kit from this link you will end up with the same files that I have in my QT folder.

However, installing QT is one thing and an application to run is quite another thing. I will tell you how I did it when I was successful. I opened QT and then I clicked on "Open Project". Then I navigated to the folder with the Dell Source Code and selected the .pro file (dell_fan_utility.pro). Then, you need to select a 32 bit compiler for your project and build it. After you do so, if you get an error about a false value, repace that false with 0. (or I can give you the modified source code that works directly). Then rebuild the project. You can also run it. You should have a folder with the compiled files. However, if you click on the executable, it won't run without the .dll files. It will give you some errors. You could just copy the .dll files from the folder I gave you. I SUGGEST YOU KEEP WHAT I GAVE YOU INTACT, and experiment in another location if you want to change things up. If you are wondering how I figured out about all the needed files, well at first I got some errors that specified what .dll files are missing. If you really need it, I could make a .pdf file containing all the steps that I used, with pictures & all. But only if this comment here is not enough, as that would take quite a while to make as well.

IMPORTANT: Notice that QT5.6.3 does not work on Windows XP. I installed it on my Windows 10, and compiled the application to work for Windows XP as well. If you have an operating system such as Windows 7 or later, maybe you can install it. But if you want QT on Windows XP then only QT4 would work. However, I think the Dell project is a QT5 project. I do not know if there is any way to make QT5 run on Windows XP. I have searched the internet but found no good answers until now. I will look into it more. Meanwhile, Zero will look to see if he is able to compile the application, and make it run using QT4. If he is able to do so, this will be most fortunate, as QT4 not only runs on Windows XP, but has a considerably reduced size (approximately 200 mb).

You can always search any dll files you might need online. I find most needed dlls on this site: https://www.dll-files.com/ You might find different versions for a dll file, and you need the right one for your system. I usually don't know which version is right, so trial and error.

ja ich werde die firewall noch in der zukunft fertig bauen, ich hatte bisher leider noch nicht fertig geschafft das problem ist nicht die firewall zu bauen sonder das problem ist das das ganze auch am ende funktioniert muss, hab ich noch nicht hinbekommen ist so viel zu studieren , aber ich hatte einige etappen erfolge gehabt, z.b einen local port schliesen oder eine established connection schliesen, also die firewall wuerde computer hacking spyware unbrauchbar machen, also ich werde sie auch so machen du man ueber jede verbindung die sich aufbaut informiert wird, und man sie dann sofort die IP verbannen kann, es wuerde auch daten sammlung komplett stoppen, also wenn du auf eine webseite gehtst und dir mal anguckst was da alles im hindergrund ableuft da wird vl fuer ne seite wie www.web.de vl so 36 verbindungen im hindergrund aufgebaut die mit der seite web.de ueberhaupt gar nix zu tun haben, meine firewall kann diese datensammlung komplett aufhalten, und fals du mal eine spyware auf deinem computer hast, meine firewall wuerde das sofort anzeigen und du konntest die IP sofort dauerhaft verbanne :) ja ich muss die firewall echt mal vertig bauen

ja was es sonst noch so neues gibt, letztes jahr hatte ich an einem eigenen aufbau von einem messenger geschrieben ( alles selbstgebaut ) mich hat einfach gestort das alle moderne messenger spionieren und im hindergrund daten sammeln und mich auschnuffeln, ja und dann war da noch das mit discord das ist ein messenger ich hab nur graue haare davon bekommen. du weist gar nicht was ich alles mitgemacht habe O_O

discord anfangs fand ich discord gut weil mehr als 60% aller jazz2 spieler ihn nutzten allerdingst ist der messenger sowas von schlecht gemacht, ich weil ja nicht sagen das die messenger die die jungere generation nutzt alle scheise sind, aber das kindische desingh mit den abc wurfel OMG!!!!!! nee geht echt gar nicht ich hab von den messenger nur graue haare bekommen, ich hatte die web version immer genutzt irgendwann wollten die dann immer mehr und mehr.. und mehr daten von mir haben.. meine Email, dann wo ich wohne... dann meine phone nummer, und selbst nach all diesen sachen wurde ich tatseachlich noch verbannt zumindest funktioniert der messenger fur mich nichtmehr, ich weis nichtmal wieso eigenlich jedenfalls ich hab wirklich nur graue haare bekommen von dem ding, an discord ist eigentlich nur gut, dass so viele ihn nutzten sonst muss ich sagen ist er ein Hamsterbacken Scheis Dreck!!!!!!!!!

super :) ja aber was heallst du von einem schnuffelfreien messenger? also der nur das tut was es tuen soll und komplett schnuffel frei ist? ja das war der einzige grund warum ich meinen eigenen messenger gebaut habe da weis ich was drin steckt, er funktioniert wie hosting in jazz2, also es gibt 2x programme die client side und die server side, bei der serverside hostet man wie in jazz2 mit einem port (man kann ihn sogar ausweahlen) und die client side da gibt man dann die Host IP ein und den port und kann sich verbinden also wie einen server hosten in jazz2 so funktioniert mein messenger, ich hab das alles nachgebaut 1zu1 also mein messenger funktioniert genau wie das hosten in jazz2 ;D , ja wir haben ihn getestet das war 2019 noch er hat funktioniert ist aber so weit noch am anfang ich muss das das project echt mal zeigen, aber was heallst du von einem schnuffel freien messenger? :)

ok ja mach das ;D ich glaube ich hab den fehler gefunden im quellcode ist ein "" leerzeichen genau dieses leerzeigen scheint ein php problem generell zu sein, weil mein message teil hier das eigentlich nicht setzt also beudetet es dieses komische leerzeichen ding wird automaitsch am anfang und ende gesetzt ich muss also an einem php code arbeiten der es automatisch wieder entfernt, aaa mir feallt genau jetzt ein wie ich das machen kann, ein replace code fur php hab ich ja schon gefunden, ja ich glaube ich kann das problem fixen, ich mach das in den nechsten tagen wenn ich wieder an meinem eigenen computer bin dann sofort, dann fix ich das, also ich hab den fehler wahrscheinlich gefunden

hallo AgentK ,ja es gibt in der tat ein problem.. also ich hatte dir ja gesagt das Shaker den server gewächselt hat, also er is jetz fertig damit, er hat den server gewächselt und alles so gemacht das es DDOS protection hat, leider ist es jezzt.. so das jeder der die webseite aufruft eine fremde IP adresse bekommt, und diese fremde IP adresse den inhalt der webseite zur eigentlichen IP adresse tranzveriert , jedenfalls die chatbox kommt damit irgendwie nich klar, ich hoffe das du als treuer chatbox mitglied nicht abspringst!! , also wir beide müssen da echt was tuen, vl gegenfalls die chatbox umcoden oder vl wo anders die chatbox hosten? was schlägst du vor?, also jeder seiten besucher bekommt jetzt eine andere IP adresse und diese greift auf die seite zu wenn du mal auif die adresse gehst: http://www.niceclan.de/dev/ip.php , dann siehst du die IP adresse welche nicht DEINE ist, und ich seh meine dort auch nicht mehr also jeder seitenbesucher bekommt eine random ip adresse wenn du die ip.php mal mit F5 hällst siehst du wie schnell sich die IP wieder umändert, also die IP von jedem besucher wird durch ne fremde IP ersetzt und die greift darauf zu und sended es zurück, ich habs mir nicht rausgesucht, aber die chatbox kommt damit irgendwie nicht klaar... was machen mir jetzt? kannst du gegenfalls die chatbox für uns hosten? ich guck mir bald mal die files an, vl steckt da der fehler drin, aber denk eher nicht so aber ich guck mir zur sicherheit auch die files an ob da alles ok ist, aber wir müssen echt was tuen schreib mir zurück

die chatbox passiert darauf das die nachricht an die richtige ip weidergesended wird, hmmm shaker hat mir was geschrieben wie ich das fixen kann, also das man die nutzter IP doch bekommen kann, aber ich weis noch nicht wie ich das in die chatbox reincoden soll, ich glaube es waehre generell besser die chatbox auf einem anderen server zu schmeisen!

ye its really true, i builded my own messenger its the Nice Clan Messenger!! ;D i selfcoded it all allone without any help, at the end, it will looks like the good old MSN messenger
the messenger is not finished, im still working on it from time to time, it works like hosting in jazz2,
so we have 2x files "client" and "server" the jazz2 players use client, and one need to Host it! he use "server", at the moment we can not let it open for 24h/7... but i often Hosted it, and it worked very good!! (the people also liked it lots!! i really need to show it you soon!!!,

then the other thing is: bevore the Messenger we had got a Chat box from k10 (hes a very old german jazz2 player) he did give us a chatbox (with the full source code), if you take a look here:

and lots of funny smilis, i also selfcoded some custom smilis inside ;D
but sadly it dont works anymore, shakerNL chainged the server and now its not compatible anymore,

at the intro if you press here on the chatbox image (with the k10s bunny upside of the box), if you click here = then it did open a little windows, with the chatbox, here we used his chatbox, i had in mind to build 2x own functions inside, to upload a own image, and post it!, i also figured out how to code it in!, but we was never able to use it, because shaker chainged the server and the chatbox is no longer compatible, then the other thing: on the screenshots selection i uploaded all the old screenshots go here

hallo k10, ich hab ne idee. also ich schies mal los: ich hab vor selber ein eigenen web server zu hosten, also von zuhause aus, dazu benötigt man eine software die dies ermöglicht wie ich heute selber herausgefunden hab, ich hab vor das teil mit apache zu hosten, ich hatte apache früher so 2019, rum mal gedownloaded, und mir einen heftigen, deftigen virus einfangen als ich das teil gehostet hatte, weil die upgeloaded version von apache eben was hatte, was ich davor nicht wusste, jedenfalls joa ich will das jetz nochmal versuchen einen eigene web server uber apache zu hosten, ich hab auch schon rausgefunden das man den port80 offnen/weiterleiten muss und dann die software starten muss, und dann müsst das so funzen, jedenfalls um nicht wieder eine falsche version von apache zu downloaden, hab ich dieses mal vor mir eine sehr sehr alte CD im ebay zu kaufen, wo apache drauf ist, und dann will ichs mal versuchen ob ich selber eine webseite hosten kann, kann noch nicht verprechen ob ich es hinbekomme, mache das zum ersten nein eigentlich zum zweiten mal, jedenfals hmm.. wenns klappt schreib ich hier meine ip und den port, dann kannst du in einen internet browser oben meine IP eingeben und daneben den port also (IP:port) und dann wenns geht dann konnen wir unsere communication dort hinverlegen, aber ich schreib dir dann hier ne nachricht wenn ichs hinbekommen hab, dann das nächste thema: also du weist ja sicherlich auch das ich ne email habe, jedenfalls eigentlich könntest du mir dort schreiben, währ eigentlich kein problem, aber du solltest wissen das die von web.de neuerlich eigentlich schon seit einigen jahre die Emails mitlesen -.-, jedenfalls aus meiner ansichtnach ist das eher eine sehr sehr bis unglaublich doofe idee wenn du mir ein email schreibst und die können das dann mitlesen, vl besser wenn wir das mit dem email verkehr ganz lassen, okay also ich versuch in den kommenden tagen/wochen, den web server von zuhause aus hosten, wenns klappt hinterlass ich hier meine IP und den port dann kannst du beides oben als internet adresse eingeben z.b "64.104.86.106:80" ...und dann koenntest du somit auf meine webseite zugreifen wo ich einen chat hinterlege, die chatbox die ich mal von dir bekommen habe, müsste dann dort auch wieder gehen ;D ja also du kannst mir nicht mehr schreiben seit shaker den server gewächselt hat, auch die chatbox geht seither nichtmehr

hallo k10, also ich wollte nochmal sagen, das Apache Buch mit der darin enthaltenen CD ist bei mir angekommen (vor ein paar tagen..) jedenfalls, joa ich versuch das teil dann in der kommenden zeit mal zu hosten ;) dann konnt ich auch die chatbox wieder online bringen, ich weis das sich jedesmal wenn ich mein Router neustarte (strom,aus/ein) schalte das sich dort dann jedesmal meine IP abandert, aber ich weis wie ich das problem losen kann, ich hatte zuvor vor 5 jahre ein program geschrieben das eine nachricht von einer .exe mithilfe von .php files die online sind dort nachrichten posten kann, so kann ich es hinbekommen das wenn sich meine IP andert, immer die aktuelle dran steht, jedenfalls ich hatte auch zu ShakerNL ein email geschriebeln was fürn program er NUTZT furs webhosting.. er nutzt nicht "apache" sonder ein andere software mit dem namen "XAMPP" ja also ich versuch es mit Apache v2 dort gibt es sogar .php, dort versuch ich es bald aus

hallo ich hab heute an der seite weitergecoded, und das ganz ohne ftp zugriff, ich hatte noch ein paar .php files drauf und hatte nur mit denen die seite bearbeitet, jaa da hatte ich nur eine upload .php file und einen neuen code gefunden um eine file zu downloaden, und die dan hochgeladen, dann hab ich noch eine .php file zum loschen einer file, die andere .php file zum umbenennen mit der ich auch die dateien verschiebe, ja und so hab ich heute ganz ohne FTP zugriff die seite mal upgedated ^^ jedenfalls wenn du mal auf https://www.niceclan.de/screenshots.php" auf screenshots selection gehst, also dort im ordner 2013, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, also dort gibt es jetzt eine neue file die heist "show-images.php" wenn du die .php file ausfuhrst kannst du die bilder in einer miniartur ansicht sehen, und wenn du sie dort anclickst kannste sie grosser haben, jedenfalls ja ich hatte den .php script mit der miniatur ansicht (vom inhalt jeweils*) mal vor einer weile gecoded und nie gebraucht, ich wusste nicht wie ichs einbinden soll, weil ich ja schon ne ansicht hatte bei den ordner die mir eigentlich gut gefallen hat, aber irgendwie dachte ich wahrs doch besser wenn man die ansicht auch haben konnte wie z.b im windows explorer mit der miniatur ansicht, das man ein uberblick uber den inhalt des ornder hat, jedenfalls joa ich hab das dann mal zusammengewurstelt ;) ubrigends die .php file mit der show-images.php ist sehr primitiv gecoded, hab auch ein bischen dran rumgecoded, und joa musst dir echt reinziehen

dort gibt es die "smalljazz2version" jedenfalls da sind nur die benotigten dateien drin um online zu zocken auch mit der letzten plus version, mehr ist nicht drin, auch alles so klein gehalten wie es nur ging vieleicht hast du ja einen neuen rechner und dort kein jazz2 oder auf einem alteren oder anderen rechner oder irgendwo auf einem alten usb stick und willst nicht suchen..
ja du kannst auch einfach die smalljazz2version dir nehmen und gleich in einen jazz2 server einchecken ;D

hab ich mir ubrigends alles selber uberlegt und niergends gesehen, und auch alles selber programiert ^^
ja ich bin kein .php pro mein level ist auch nicht mittel, ich seh mich bei php immer noch mehr als anfeanger, aber mit meinen skills war ich in der lage all das komplett alleine zu coden, und am ende hat es sogar hingehauen das ich mit meinem skill das erreichen konnte

hey!! the NC Server was running today, full 3 hours was the server running without any crash, but with serveral problems, like SPAM kicking for only "one sentence", and then strange cto errors.. it also happend when a client joined the game, then often got a cto after 1sc, when they came back after a delay from 8sc they dont got a cto, i think i need here a new mainboard for the nc server ;D
